The special “Kimerald” issue features personal anecdotes of Kim and Gerald’s growing-up years way before they entered showbiz and answer all the questions that their numerous followers have always wanted to ask. Kim Chiu shares all about her hopes, dreams, fears, and her future with Gerald. Gerald Anderson, on the other hand, exhibits his brand new three-storey house in a posh residential area in Quezon City.

Top Teen Awards was the first every award ceremony ‘for teens, by teens’. Different teenagers from different region in the country had voted their favorite music, movies, TV and other categories.

A wonderful performance was rendered by the bands Chicosci,  Sponge Cola and Bamboo.

“Tayong Dalawa” tells the story of two guys both named David Garcia, played by Gerald and Jake Cuenca, with one name, one dream and one love (Kim Chiu).

The series has given credibility to reality show graduates Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson and was able to boost the stock of Jake Cuenca, who was better known as an actor and model.

For support, these young actors have actors Gina Pareno, Anita Linda, Cherry Pie Picache, Alessandra de Rossi, Mylene Dizon, Jiro Manio, Coco Martin, Helen Gamboa, Baron Geisler, Agot Isidro, Miguel Faustman, Jodi Sta. Maria and Spanky Manikan – all award winners.

“Tayong Dalawa” airs weeknights after “Only You” on ABS-CBN.

It’s been three years. In a way, I’ll be at a loss if ever my next screen assignments are not with him. It’s still different when he’s my leading man. I’m used to working with him.

“Now, if he’d be paired with Sarah, that’s fine with me. That’s how things are in showbiz. I’ll be happy for him. ABS-CBN just wants the best for us. I trust their decision. As for me, I’ll be okay with whoever gets paired with me in the coming days. We’re already paired with new partners. But as of now, I don’t want to think about it,” she states.

But before the rumor mill misinterprets his statement yet again, Jake was quick to say the reason behind his closeness towards the young actress. “I really look at her as a sister to me in the same way I look at Gerald as a brother. I’m just very thankful to both of them that they let me in with what they have. Talagang nakatulong sa amin tatlo.” When told that they really bring out the best in each other, Jake agreed that they always help each other out. “Talagang we challenge each other. Kapag merong isa sa aming nadapa, merong dalawang tutulong kaagad. Yun ang maganda sa amin.”
